VOLLEY315 After School Program

Most children’s first exposure to volleyball occurs when they start modified sports. The purpose this program is to give children the opportunity to experience volleyball at a younger age, in a safe and inclusive environment.

DURATION: 45 minutes, typically once a week

K-4:
o This portion of the program lasts 45 minutes
o Each child will learn the fundamentals of passing, setting, and hitting.
o VOLLEY315 will incorporate drills and rotating stations to keep each child occupied and not standing around waiting for long.
o VOLLEY315 has created fun games to keep children engaged and moving for the total duration of the program

$75 per session (45 minutes)

VOLLEY315 K-12 Clinic

DURATION: 3 hours

K-4:
o This portion of the program lasts 45 minutes
o Each child will learn the fundamentals of passing, setting, and hitting.
o VOLLEY315 will incorporate drills and rotating stations to keep each child occupied and not standing around waiting for long.
o Parents are required to stay for this age group

5th-8th Grade:
o This portion of the program runs 1 hour in duration
o Each child will learn the fundamentals of passing, setting, and hitting.
o By the end of the clinic there will be game-like drills to start learning the basics of the game of volleyball

9th-12th Grade:
o This age group has the opportunity to volunteer to work the younger age group’s portion of the clinic. They can use this opportunity as volunteer hours if they are part of a program that requires volunteer hours.
o This portion of the program runs for 1 hour in duration
o Each player will get more detailed instruction for passing, setting, and hitting skills.
o This portion will be more advanced than the previous age groups, and will do more game-like drills.
o VOLLEY315 reserves the right to adjust this portion of the clinic based on the skill level entering the program. Ex; skill level is less advanced than expected, we will change the drills to adapt and adjust to the level. OR if the skill level is more experienced players, we will use more advanced drills and technique.

OTHER DETAILS:
o A net system must be provided by the school district
o VOLLEY315 will provide all other equipment
o Each athlete will receive a gift on behalf of VOLLEY315
o Athletes will NOT be charged to attend the clinic
