My name is Allison Denk, and I am the founder of VOLLEY315. I remember falling in love with volleyball at a young age. I used to watch my mom play as a child on the hard court and in the sand. I remember sitting in the sand and playing during breaks. I began playing just by passing the ball around and practicing serving, and as soon as I was old enough to play I got involved. I played throughout school, and also played club volleyball during the school’s off season. My passion only grew as I got older, and I started coaching club volleyball in 2007 for Crossroads volleyball club (15U, 14U, 18U). I have also coached for Eastside Ice Volleyball club (15U, 17U), North Rose Wolcott Girls modified, and Varsity Co-coach at Waterloo High School. During this time I continue to play in adult leagues and tournaments. The right coach can make all the difference for one player. My goal is to make each player know that I believe in them, and they are capable of MORE than they know. Every athlete deserves a chance to work to their full potential, they just need one person to believe in them. This program started as a small idea brought up by my son on how to introduce more volleyball to younger kids in Wayne County. He wanted to share our passion for the sport with as many young athletes as possible. I’m grateful for him helping to spark this idea, as this has been a dream of mine for many years. What had started out as one free clinic in Wayne county, is now becoming something much larger. I now offer private lessons on a weekly basis, specialty clinics, after school programs, and school clinics. I’m beyond grateful for the support from my closest friends and family. The number of hours they have dedicated to my program are beyond measure, and without them I know that this would not have taken off the ground like it did.

I want to thank these companies for providing donations that allowed me to start this program and get it off the ground: Morgan Rubbish, Dependable Disposal, Lyons National Bank, Eastside Ice Volleyball Club, Jennifer Marie Studios, and Simply Sam, Jeff Telarico Thank you to Shane Loncosky at Battle Craft Studios for Logo designs, website updates, upgrades and tech support!
